Millay Colony Residency

From April 1st through April 29th of 2010, I was fortunate enough to be one of the resident artists at The Millay Colony for the Arts. Fellow residents included the visual artist Mylinh Chau, screenwriter Catherine Jones, poet Carol Rubenstein, writer James Scott, and composer Mark So.

On the grounds here, among the relics from Edna St. Vincent Millay's life, is a gin pile containing all sorts of leftover bottles from the parties she used to throw in Austerlitz. Over time, although many of the bottles are still here, the forest has done what it can to reclaim them by turning them into the collection of terrariums below.
